North Korea invades South Korea, Harry Truman ordered the U.S into the war. 3 million soldiers and civilians were killed or wounded before it ended in 1953.
Dwight D. Eisenhower was voted President of the United States in 1952. He served 2 terms.
On December 1st 1955 Rosa Parks was forced to give up her seat in the black section reserved for black people so a white man could sit there. Rosa Parks refused and was arrested on the spot.
